Are you a public health professional with excellent leadership qualities looking for an exciting new challenge? Are you able to combine strategic thinking, underpinned by the latest scientific research, with care and compassion for those managing their disabilities, and a strong sense of justice to tackle serious human rights issues? If so, then please consider this exciting role as CEO of ILEP – an international network of NGOs united in our shared vision of a world free from leprosy.
We are looking for someone who is a ‘big picture’ thinker and a natural relationship builder, who can connect the work of our members under a shared strategy and with shared values. To be the successful candidate, you will need to understand the unique role of the NGO sector in the fight against leprosy, the challenges of running a membership organisation, as well as possess the skills to work together with a broad range of public and private stakeholders committed to achieving zero leprosy. You will also need to work effectively with the broader community working to end Neglected Tropical Diseases.
You come in at an exciting time in the leprosy world, where you can make a big impact working together with the new Global Partnership for Zero Leprosy. As such this is offered as a one year contract, with the possibility for extension.
